“Top 10” articles on using Vote at Home to counteract the impact of COVID-19

So much has been written recently on the subject of how increasing the use of mailed-out ballots by November, with polling places still playing a role, we thought you’d like a compilation you can share with your friends. Here are links to Vote At Home’s Facebook and Twitter sites to make that easy.

As National Vote at Home CEO, Amber McReynolds, observed,
“The overwhelming majority of states already offer ‘no excuse’ absentee voting — meaning a voter can request an absentee ballot without having to justify that request. So these states are already going to see ‘a huge increase’ in the number of absentee ballot requests if voters are still socially distancing on Election Day. States will have to do something to accommodate that increase. But they could actually wind up saving money in the long run if they centralized their process for sorting and counting absentee ballots. Many states currently delegate this task to local officials, which prevents them from taking advantage of economies of scale.”
